Pure 100% merino blanket with hand-knotted fringe. This shade is achieved by mixing brown and white wool.

This merino blanket was woven in  traditional looms by maragato weavers in León, Spain. Each of these blankets have thousands of small air chambers that help keeping the warmth and humidity while mainting the natural proprierties of wool.

All blankets are washed and dried under the Spanish sun, these are made in centuries old looms so there may be some discrepancies in colour, measurements and finishes, each one is unique.

This is a thick heavy merino blanket, great for bedding, camping, or your cabin, they are combed using natural thistles and mechanical brushes up to three times, to get the softest hairs and discard the coarser ones, you'll want to snuggle in this all day.

These merino blankets have been made by Miguel in his workshop.

Measurements in metres: 2.1 m x 2.4 m

Measurements in feet: 6.9 feet x 7.9 feet

    • Care instructions

Diswasher safe. High fired earthenware creates a glazed surface that is durable and easy to
clean. But for the durability of your earthenware, we recommend hand washing, only with mild soap and
never scratchy or abrasive powdered cleaners.

Microwave and freezer safe. The thermal shock resistance is high but it is not
suitable for use in ovens. It is guaranteed to withstand temperatures only from -20oC to 120oC. This
earthenware should not be put directly over a direct flame or burner.

Food safe. All products contain no lead or cadmium.

      Considerations

Please have in mind all our pieces have been handmade or handcrafted using natural materials. Most artisans still keep centuries old tools, so changes in colours, shapes, measurements, finishes and textures can occur due to their artisanal nature.
