These Portuguese dinnerware pieces will blow your mind. We are always on the look for unique and singular traditional pieces and when we saw Jorge & Maria's work we booked a flight to the Aveiro region in Portugal. 

They make an incredible work collecting antique painted pieces that were used in common folks houses and reproduce them in order to preserve the designs and catalogue them. The possibilities are endless when it comes to colours and patterns and the best part is they don't need to match, you can mix-match and create your own set.

Jorge proudly displays his antique ceramic collection and stencil folders, treasures from local flea markets. He preserves Aveiro's folk art by recreating 19th and 20th-century ceramic designs, including spongeware patterns from his antique finds. His work showcases these historic Portuguese ceramic designs.
