Manta 100% de lana merina, hecha en telar en la maragatería leonesa.

El diseño es nuestro pero tampoco tiene mucho misterio, en estos telares mitad operados a mano mitad mecánicos, solo se admite un diseño horizontal, trabajamos con los colores que tenía disponibles el artesano. La lana marrón y la blanca son colores naturales, los otros son teñidos (obviamente).

Cada manta es de lana merina en su totalidad, cepillada bien suave para que no os pique y rematada con el flequillo de nudos atados a mano uno a uno.

Todo el proceso es local y lo único que se hace fuera es el teñido de la lana que se hace en nuestra vecina Portugal, ya que aquí ya no queda quién lo haga.

Seguro que habéis escuchado hablar de las zamoranas, palentinas o astorganas para referirse a estas mantas.

Estas miden 2.4 x 2.1 metros.   

    • Care instructions

      All our pieces are 100% merino or 100% lambswool with no other fibres.

      Please wash carefully in mild water with a splash of ammonia or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Never tumble dry. Wool is self cleaning, just shake it periodically and place outisde on a sunny day, you can also brush to get that new look again.

      To keep it away from moths, place in a plastic bag, and close tightly. If you are in Spain and wish to give your blanket an thoroughly cleaning and brushing by the same people who wave these, please let us know so we can arrange it.
