This piece is the most famous one made in this small village in the Tabernas desert.

This pitcher is modeled by hand, with no molds involved with the clay from the area used for these pieces (this is very important as the inside is not glazed and it is prepared to hold water), and then painstakingly hand-painted and fired.

This is heavy but can be held with one hand, for a special occasion table, a summer al fresco dining, or just as a sculptural piece, this is a true gem.

Care instructions

All our pieces are 100% merino or 100% lambswool with no other fibres.
Please wash carefully in mild water with a splash of ammonia or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Never tumble dry. Wool is self cleaning, just shake it periodically and place outisde on a sunny day, you can also brush to get that new look again.
To keep it away from moths, place in a plastic bag, and close tightly. If you are in Spain and wish to give your blanket an thoroughly cleaning and brushing by the same people who wave these, please let us know so we can arrange it.
