This one will make you think of your grandparents kitchen. I like to think of the abstract border in blue like feathers of the very confident rooster in the center.

Use these alone or combine with our bigger plates. All our pieces are handpainted by Jorge in the Aveiro region, using stencils with designs and motifs from the XIX and XX century. Traditional Portuguese soup plates were smaller than nowadays and double as dessert plates too.

Care instructions

All our pieces are 100% merino or 100% lambswool with no other fibres.
Please wash carefully in mild water with a splash of ammonia or using the wool cycle of your washing machine. Never tumble dry. Wool is self cleaning, just shake it periodically and place outisde on a sunny day, you can also brush to get that new look again.
To keep it away from moths, place in a plastic bag, and close tightly. If you are in Spain and wish to give your blanket an thoroughly cleaning and brushing by the same people who wave these, please let us know so we can arrange it.
