Donkey candlestick

Donkey shaped candlestick handmade in Morocco. 

During our time in Morocco we came up with the idea of paying some sort of homage to this hard-working and mostly unnapreciated animal that is so ubiquitous along all the Mediterranean countries. We worked with one of our artisans and he came with the idea of using iron unused scraps that were discarded.

This is a very rustic piece made completely by hand with some cutters somewhere in Marrakech's medina, it's as rough as it looks, that's the charm.
