100% pure merino wool blankets woven in León, Spain, a region where weaving magic has been a tradition for centuries. We work directly with artisan families who've been perfecting their craft for generations, using the finest merino and lambswool to create blankets that are as cozy as they are beautiful. 

Weaving tradition in this area can be traced back tot he XVII century when you could find up to 80 artisans in the same little village, unfortunately there are only 4 left now. Their survival is linked to their extraordinary quality and dedication, these blankets are well known all over Europe.

Who are the Maragatos?

The Maragatos are the inhabitants of a region near León and their blankets are well known all over Europe. The success and popularity of their blankets is due to their traditional wool combing technique known as “hollow-fiber”, which means that in the fiber there is trapped air that offers natural insulation resulting in extremely warm blankets.
