Amor is the Portuguese for Love, traditional ceramics used to incorporate words and phrases making the designs funnier and more interesing. We asked Jorge to add daisies and roses in blue and yellow, we think this came up wonderfully.

This lovely pitcher was hand-painted by Jorge using stencils, as it's usual in the area, both sides of the carafe are painted, so is the rim and the beak in a deep Portuguese blue. It holds 1.5 lts or 0.4 US gallons.

Care instructions

Diswasher safe. High fired earthenware creates a glazed surface that is durable and easy to
clean. But for the durability of your earthenware, we recommend hand washing, only with mild soap and
never scratchy or abrasive powdered cleaners.

Microwave and freezer safe. The thermal shock resistance is high but it is not
suitable for use in ovens. It is guaranteed to withstand temperatures only from -20oC to 120oC. This
earthenware should not be put directly over a direct flame or burner.

Food safe. All products contain no lead or cadmium.
