Tamegroute is located along the Draa Valley in Morocco and is home to the famous green Moroccan pottery. Tamegroute women source their clay from the nearby palm grooves and elaborate their secret glazing with local herbs and metals, resulting in imperfect and rustic pieces.

We drove along dusty roads until reaching Tamegroute where we met Nouredinne. He belongs to one of the seven families who run the pottery, we work hand with hand buying directly from him.
